What's a reasonable price to pay for having an x-pipe installed? I got quoted $300 from a reputable performance shop, but thought that seemed a bit high.
Its easy, you can do it & save yourself some coin. Lots of youtube videos on how to do it, good luck
Did it myself on my '17 Z06. With a hoist, basic hand or power tools & some mechanical experience, it can be done in under an hour. Hourly labor rates vary $100 - $125/hr on average. Shops with a drive-on hoists may not be able to do it because of low clearance so be careful there. The sound & freer flowing exhaust made it worthwhile for me.
150 would be max!! It can be done in 45 min-1 hour with a lift. I paid 120 the first time. The next time I did it I did it myself at home in maybe an hour. It was very simple and enjoyable.
