Since I haven’t really figured out my PDR yet I set my speedo timer from 55-125 (125 is the max set point). Did it in 7.6 seconds.

curious how much it costs to race there?

Hp tuners is dependent on the car's speedo. Ok if you got stock tire size, but when you get into triple digit speeds, speedos are never 100% accurate. This could be a 1/2 sec difference to 150 for example.

PDR is also often off by a little so I only use it if comparing to other PDR videos with near identical rear tire sizes

Draggy is gps and universal on all cars.

8.42 seconds - stock m7 stage 1 aero. Only have a single pass, so nothing to compare it too.

Full disclosure, this was on skinnies and on a prepped track.

Its been 5.60-5.78 on street tires on the street.

Not quite 60-130 but I did this the other day, 50-120. Was comparing 3rd gear only to a run with a 2-3 shift. Not shifting and using 3rd only was 7.2 seconds, using 2nd and 3rd was 6.8 seconds, pic below.
Full stage 3 aero.

For the manual guys, we should do a comparison of 60-130 starting in 3rd.

I'm just waiting for warmer weather before I start playing with the features like this.

Its slower.

I did do a 100-130 comparison of TC off and rev Match off vs normal in sport mode. I noticed that if I shift very fast in sport, or track dry, TC kicks in and bogs me with a rough shift. I lost up to 1/2 a second due to this on 2 runs. In my PDR videos I can see TC flash at shifts and I lose a good 1/2 car length to 1 car length during shift.

I don't remember this happening on track in sport 1, sport 2 or race.

What driving mode & PTM mode were you in?

Obviously it's slower. I just wanted to see the difference because when i roll race, depending on ambient temp, i use 3rd instead of 2nd at 60. Not trying to put my car into the other side of the highway because i punched it in 2nd when the tires aren't warm enough.

I may just do this this weekend for comparison.

Did this yesterday, stage 3 aero without clear center, 830whp, M7 2nd with one shift into third...I think I can do a little better because I did a normal shift not NLS/started pull at 49mph

Damn that's pretty damn quick.

For reference a 1300 or 1400awhp GTR does 60-130 in 3.7 seconds lol.

So your car is definitely moving! And a manual too. Nice!

Do you have a PDR? I found the timers differ. For example, 0-60 run I did, DIC showed 4.0, PDR showed 3.7 and when I loaded the PDR video onto the Cosworth Toolbox, it showed 3.63. Have no idea why this is or for that matter which is (closest to) accurate. Going to buy a Draggy one of these days...

Awesome run! A manual, very cool. Stock clutch holding up ok?
For my 50-120 runs I roll in the throttle in second gear at about 25, flat footed by 40-45.

My 2019 A8 via HP Tuner log 59.79-130.36 = 7.055 seconds. Temperature was 81*. I have three mods. An aFe intake, ported tb and Borla catless mid pipe.

Unfortunately I did not have the PDR on, was going home from work and saw an opportunity for a pull, just reset the timer and went before traffic got around me.

Clutch is holding fine, I haven’t launched at a drag track though since they have been closed so far this year, if I get an opportunity I’ll try a 25-125 see how the time may change, let you know.

What do you have for tires? I can't imagine how that much power with a manual and you punching it in 2nd gear and you pull off a time like that.

I have slightly more power than stock and i would have to be driving for over 30 minutes or so for the tires to be warm enough to even try to punch it in 2nd gear. That's why i mostly do all my playing around in 3rd and 4th.
