1 application install failed

1 application install failed

On my infotainment screen it comes up with a message saying "1 Application Installation Failed" and has a Dismiss option that I have to press several times before it goes away. Any ideas what is causing this? I canceled my Onstar today (don't use it) hoping that was the issue.

Set back to factory defaults.

I believe that installing apps takes a wi-fi connection - part of the trial period, after that $$$. I didn't bother getting wi-fi set up.

I tried that and it didn't work. Anyone know how to solve this?

It is most likely caused by a failed app install or update. You can see all the apps installed. If you do not have the built in WiFi, go to settings and manually connect to your homes WiFi and see if that solves the problem for you. I personally use the On-star WiFi since it connects to my 360c detector .. I hope you can solve your problem..
