Default Splitter advice

Its been 11 days since I paid for my 2017 Z06. Still waiting for a ship date... Getting tired of waiting!

My Z has the stock stage 1 splitter and its one of the few cosmetic (mostly) things I really want to upgrade right away. I like the look of the stage 3 winglets in exposed carbon fiber but I also like the look of the stage 2.5 in carbon flash by Extreme online. The stage three carbon fiber set up I am looking at is from a different company - corvettemods.com.

I believe my car has side skirts that are color matched to the car (can't tell for sure). Curious what others think would look better on this Z06 - stage 2.5 in carbon flash OR Stage 3 in carbon fiber. Obviously the carbon fiber is more expensive. $900 for the stage 3 vs $600 for the 2.5.

Any thoughts? Any experience with each of these companies?

Also one last question - how much of a difference will these splitters make on approach heights? My driveway has a 3-4 degree slope and a curb/gutter. I am hoping a 45 degree approach angle will be all thats required - if not I would be willing to buy one of the gutter bridge devices.

I have never used either company, but if I am not mistaken, both have a terrible reputation. Others will chime in soon.

I have apr exposed carbon fender extensions. Reviews had indicated that they match perfectly with the factory carbon weave and finish and they were correct.

i recently ordered apr front splitter and side rockers, should be here tomorrow 🙂 apr has my vote

My EOS 2.5 splitter fit great with only minor adjustment and was delivered within two business days to my house. I know corvettemods is terrible to deal with from what I’ve seen on the forum and they were removed as a forum vendor a while back.

The best is ACS (Overpriced, but good or better than OEM) I run Stage 3, but I track my car.. the effect at speed is amazing with stage 3. I would go for Carbon flash, as if you manage to damage them you could technically repair them, where exposed carbon.. one crack ding or dent you can either paint them carbon flash after repairing or you replace whole unit. I have run it both ways, with and without splitters... any "speed" you would loose is only up top and is negligible compared to what you loose in handling. I did notice at speeds of 80mph a difference in cornering grip, not just high speed no matter what some may say. I guess if you were drag racing it might matter, but I personally bought a Z07 track car not drag car. Remember if you run stage 3 front, you need to run stage 3 out back to "balance" car. I was getting a bit loose around corners at higher speeds until I put stage 3 rear on. I also added the ACS rear diffusers.. will test them out if the damn tracks ever open up again around here. I also think for myself aesthetically, to run exposed carbon I would need to change out most parts for the carbon flash for exposed carbon and just a waste of $$ for cosmetics.

I like the look of stage 3 over stage 2 and prefer the look of carbon fiber over carbon flash. Thats all personal preference though, which do YOU prefer? Its a very small price difference between the two based on what you posted, so I'd say go with whichever you like more.
