Or you can go back and tell them to take the front cover off and re-seal it. If we had a leak on a car it wouldn't even be a thought....bring it in and get it fixed at no charge. I'm guessing they are just trying to re-coupe some cash.
I would look to see exactly where it's coming from first. On cars running more boost and no catch can (routed properly) you can spew oil out of the front main seal. When we take off the front cover we always install a LS3 front main seal (they are a direct fit). The LT ones are weaker and when you add boost they will fail.

I'm going to be installing my MM wild catch can, any tips for routing? Seems like there is a ton of different ways to route it.
And to the OP. Shop should fix that right for free. If you don't have the bottom of the timing cover very clean and the pan cery clean the silicone/rtv won't seal right... like on all ls motors as well

Not familiar with the front covers of the late model LT engines but on the C4 LT's one has to be careful about nicking the seal when installing. There is a special little plastic nozzle that is used to cover a drive to prevent nicking the seal when installing. I used it for cam swap on my LT4 and have never had a leak. I would suspect they had an installation failure. Their problem, not yours.
