You could answer you own question by simply visiting any car selling website.
I concur, buying a used car is case-by-case, lots of variables, of which the M7 or A8 is only one.
I would think at most, with all other variables being equal, a seller may think M7 is a $2K add-on to price, you job is let them know you were looking for an A8 but you will take their car with no increase on price for the transmission.
I’m very happy with my 19Z Z07 M7. I ordered it the way I wanted. With that said, I just been curious about the value on it since people can’t really find M7’s like the autos. The real car that will be worth a lot one day is the C7 ZR1 M7!
The one’s you’ve seen close to 80k, were they Z07’s and what was the average miles on them? Thanks in advance
Keeping in mind that advertised price is one thing and actual selling price another, Corvette World in TX just sold one 2019 Z06 with less than 1000 for $81K (advertised)
Right now there are only 8 2019 M7 Z06 in Autotrader; of course, there are more sites (Cars.com, CarGurus...) and prices are from $70K to $78.5K.
I spent months looking for one before I got mine in May and prices at the beginning of the year weren't that high, I'm not sure if the C8 is affecting the Z06 manuals value that much.
I’ve been helping look for some family for a good deal for a M7 grand sport and or z06. (Since they love my 19z M7 so much) It has to be a 17+. Z07 doesn’t matter since it can be added after but it does have to be a 2lt/2lz or higher with PDR. And certain exterior colors is a big requirement as well. Those features can’t be added/changed after purchases (besides paint). It’s been months of looking. Autos aren’t too bad to find for decent prices but M7s have been a struggle. We did come across a couple that checked all the boxes the prices were a good 8k above a similar priced auto. And it was almost as much as I paid new for min with the 15 percent off I received. They were hoping that with the C8 they were gonna get a steal on a lightly used M7 but so far it’s not happening. Let’s see how the market does when things go back to normal.
I kept lowering and lowering the price on my 1700 mile 3LZ 2015 until I realized Vette prices in general are going sky high, was going to replace it with a C6 Z and cash but now I think I'll sit on it for a bit
Automatic was an extra cost option when they were new. Are they equal now, do you think?
Its not even a consideration with Manheim at all. It’s year, options, miles and condition. Not even a box to check for it when considering the valuation of each vehicle.
Same thing has happened to every sports car that dropped the manual, the last of the manuals and the nicest ones especially people hang onto, that means fewer cars for sale which drives up the used costs. There are hardly any 2017-2019 3lz manuals for sale compared to automatics
