Default Mod Questions

Hello - I've owned my 2017 m7 2LZ since brand new. Just paid her off and have the pink coming in the mail. Thinking about doing a couple of quick and easy mods. CAI halltech - is this mod worth it? Is it hard to do for someone medium mechanical? Second - XPIPE - which brand should i go with? And does this mod eliminate the stock NPP exhaust it came with? Any other quick and easy mods up for suggestion? This car sees road course time. Thank you for your help!

Both good simple mods. X pipe does not affect npp valves. Most I know of are similar 3" designs, so doubt there is much of a difference between them.

The CAI, X pipe and throttle body are probably the easiest mods to perform by yourself. They all require just the basic hand tools that everyone has. It should take about 45 minutes for the CAI, 1.5 hours for the X pipe and 15 minutes for the throttle body. Maybe a bit longer if you like to enjoy cold beverages while working on your cars like me.

These are easy mods that anyone can do on their own. Grab the Corsa Xpipe, I believe it's one of the last systems available that will delete the rear (secondary cats). The rest cut in behind them. If you're ready to order grab them from our site with coupon code VETTE. Should be the best price around. We are also offering a free bolt on tune with purchase of an HP tuners kit.

I think Soler best TB out there for supercharged cars.. Get the Factory Airbox, basically a better filter which is an option as well. No need to get the snake oil units unless your going to really mod things. If you want the best of both worlds go Akrapovic Evolution. They have better NPP controllers and no rear cats along with amazing sound like no others I have heard.. just be sitting down when looking up price on the Evolution

I have the same car. I’ve been really happy with the BMS filter, Borla Xpipe and Mamo TB. The shop I plan on swapping my blower recommended the Halltech for most power. The AWE Xpipe and Soler TB are at the top of the list these days. If you are willing to tune the car I would just upgrade the blower and go from there. Both the Maggie 2300 or 2650 will completely transform the car.
