Default Vitesse Throttle Controller installed

Installed today and did two short test drives. First off installing was easy. The controller is in the center console. Calibrated the unit and then started up the Z. I do feel a quicker response from the pedal! Set it to Sport 5 and then went for a drive. After a few minutes the check engine light came on. I went home scanned and reset the fault code 2138, throttle positioning sensor. After a Google search, I read some other people had same issue a few years back. Started the car again and went for another short drive. This time no fault code. It is like 50 degrees in NJ so tires not hot enough to drive hard. Will test it some more and see how it behaves.

Default

I sent and email to Vitesse support and got a response later in the day which was a surprise. The reply; "Yes, that is normal. If you changed the setting to high SP mode, the ECU simply warns you that the voltage sent from the gas pedal is not same as the voltage received at the throttle body. To prevent this from happening, you need to increase the settings slowly, like one setting each day…"Make sense to me....
