Default Blocker rings

Has anyone installed the metal wheel blocker rings and just left them on? Will it hurt anything to leave them on all the time?

I think they might cause a problem. The best thing to do is to swap to the newer version of the rotor that doesn't have the spokes. The blocker rings are wire tied to the rotor so can make noise and trap dirt.

I have them on my car with the gm brake ducts. They replace the factory splash shields. The bolt in place in the stock locations. They also are a heat shield for the tie rod ends. The only reason I would take them off is if you drive alot in the rain or snow. Otherwise there is no reason to take them off.

Sorry about my previous post. I thought you were talking about the blocking rings that early Z51 owners were supposed to wire tie to spokes of their Quasi Two Piece rotors. The wheel blockers shouldn't really be a problem as long as you don't use 18 inch wheels.
