Looking at a 2015 z06 w z07 package/3lz and comp seats w 10k miles. Owner has been transparent w accident on history and sent me pics. Pretty much a bike ran into the front of car while in parking lot and scratched the front end up. Carfax reports minor. What y’all think it’s worth w the accident on record? Tia
Depends on how well the auto body shop did. Prob $500-$3k off in my opinion if it was just paint work, depending on the quality of the work. More importantly, how much does the fact that it's had paint work matter to you? There are tons of corvettes, usually it means pass for me until I find one that checks all the boxes and has no history. Speaking of, mine is for sale in the FS section if you are interested.
Doesn’t bother me too much but I know it will bother some potential buyers when it comes time to sell. Just trying to put a good figure on that amount.
It's worth what you want to pay for it. You can probably use that to your advantage in negotiation for sure. Personally, as long as the airbags didn't deploy, it was drivable, and fixed properly it's not a big deal. The fact that the owner has pics and documentation should give you peace of mind but I'd ask for those in case you do buy it and want to sell it at some point. I had someone back into my parked gen6 SS vert in a parking lot, bumper cover was repainted and it was good to go. When I traded that it on my Z06 it didn't effect the value they gave me at all because I shared pics/documentation with the dealer. Now, more than one accident on a carfax and I'm out...
The car has lost value, do to the accident. Just ask your local dealer. If you never sell the car you won't loose money. When dealer look at a car a accident they don't care (small or large accident ). The private seller must adjust his price>

that is completely false information. I sold cars for 7 years and anytime a car came in on trade with a bad carfax it lost 10-15% on the value. We took a huge hit once because we bought a car that showed a clean carfax, but 2 weeks later the accident popped up as we were trying to sell it
