Good day to everybody and thank you for taking the time. I'll make it short and to the point. 2016 ZO6, convertible, 7-speed manual. It has a helix Corsa x pipe, and AFE cold air intake. I would like to get a louder exhaust sound and even after pulling fuse 42, I'm still looking for a more aggressive throaty RAW sound.
the louder the better. Now obviously getting a set of headers for $4,000 would likely be the most ideal scenario, but I was thinking of something a little less expensive in permanent such as either a muffler delete or a cat delete. I see a huge variation in prices from the different manufacturers of muffler delete products. Some ranging from two hundred and up to 1500 which seems extremely excessive. Can anybody point me in the direction and a product that will not only give me the sound that I want but be affordable.
on a side note, I know that some of the tips that manufacturers use with the muffler delete products are inferior to the OEM ones and that is a slight problem that I could probably either live with or weld the OEM tip after. Once again thank you for any feedback
You want a magnaflow 19236 competition system. It basicsally has no mufflers. Your vette will sound loud and scream like a racecar. Ive had it on my Z06 now for a few years with an x pipe and it sounds like no other at the cruise nights.

I have the AWE track exhaust with the 2" ARH headers and catless xpipe. The car is insane, sounds like a nascar.
I had the same set up with the awe track exhaust. Sounded like a beast. Ended up keeping the headers and awe x-pipe and re installing the stock npp system. Awe is great and loud.

Your neighbors & the police are gonna love you.
Also added aFe intake & Corsa cat-less mid-pipe to my '17 Z06. I figured that was loud enough. Any right foot pedal pressure lit up the decibel meter.

You can DIY the main cats. Just need to tune it or get some of the O2 sensor extenders. I tuned mine out. Can knock it out in a day. Here's my crappy how-to video. It's ALOT louder after this.

I’d love to hear some sound clips of this setup! Anyway you could post a few or possibly send them to me if you are unable to post them?
I am catless with 2” ARH headers but with the factory axle back. I personally think my car is too quiet.
How is the drone at highway speeds?
I apologize for all of the questions. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find much information on the AWE track exhaust (or comparable muffler delete) with cat-less headers.
