I might be moving out of the C6Z and into a C7Z some time in the next year or so. I am trying to figure out if PDR was available in all packages or only just one like 3LT?
The Nav/PDR was standard with the 3LT/3LZ optional with the 1LT/1LZ and 2LT/2LZ. All 3 trim levels came with OnStar Nav so you have to make sure to ask which Nav system is actually on the car when dealing with less than 3LT/3LZ trim levels. Typically, used car salespeople and a lot of owners won't be able to answer the question as they will be clueless about the difference.
It may have been optional for the 1LZ, but I have yet to see 1LZ without it. Most 1LZ's are performance oriented, rather than luxury/cruise, so the PDR was prevalent, along with any optional coolers, ELSD, etc.

But at a certain cost point, it becomes cheaper to just go out and trade cars for a car that does have it.

agreed. I was just curious because i came across a low mile 17 1LZ with a pretty extensive build(2.9 whipple) and thought about buying her. had the front camera on my last 17 Z, figured i could survive without it.

To clarify the post above, in-dash NAV was not standard with all trim levels. If you have the in-dash NAV option then you have the PDR. The NAV/PDR package was standard with 3LZ and optional with the others
