Here's a classic ,driving to DMV to get my Z register in January title exc. out of state purchase so they needed to verify the VIN # and running over what I thought was a piece snow ,you know, the kind that falls off your vehicle and you see sliding on the road and it just gets flatten out when you run over it, well look at this rim . I had Michelin PS A/S +3 ZPs and was 2 miles form my house when, what I thought was snow , was a small rock . The DIC indicated R/R tire had no pressure and for one split second I was going too turn around and go home, but , I decided too keep going because it was going to snow later in the week . This was my window of opportunity to get my Z title ,tag and inspection, I had a 30 day out of state plate on the car. DMV was 15 miles away when this happened. I got there and when I was in the tunnel ask the inspector if they had any air and told them what happened on the way , they did. While I'm putting air in it was coming out just as fast, then I saw the RIM . I did get everything done ,title, tags and inspection that was great but, I now had too drive back home on this dam rim on the interstate highway trying not to get run over by everybody going hell bent for election too no where and I had 17 miles too go . What an experience that was , I can say first hand that I will always run Michelin ZP tires on my Z for ever , they got me home safe and sound !!
Thanks , Your right about that , I had 2019 GS for 2 yrs. and no issues so there's definitely a first time for everything . You can't hit or run over anything all with these rims .

I agree, would have Michelin A/S 3 run flats on my car but they were not available so had to go with Continental ExtremeContact non run flats. Made up an emergency road repair kit to help just in case something happened, but it is not the same and would not have helped you. I like the ride of the Continental's but would rather have the run flat feature.
Sorry about the problem but glad you got everything done. I am a big fan of runflats for getting you out of a trouble spot--happened to me once and was a huge plus. I have the A/S3+ZPs on my 2016 Z06, adding them when my OEM Pilot Sports wore out last spring at 21,000 miles. My rims were not cracked when I got them but the installer said the passenger side rims were slightly bent. He was able to balance them out OK so I don't notice anything, but just in case I have a backup plan to get some forged wheels that look like my Chrome Z06 rims if the rims ever crack. Good luck on your new project! --Bob.
