In normal driving on cool days My transmission temp barely registers anything.
On a warm day when the engine and oil temp rise (190f - 200f) I will see the trans temp rise above 100(?).
I just had the trans flushed and refilled and there is no change in its behavior.
This is not a concern but I am wondering if everyone experiences this behavior?
It's normal. Most of the heat that your transmission will experience for regular day to day driving will be from the exhaust pipes and ambient temperatures.
The harder the transmission works, the more heat will be generated (ex. high speeds fighting air resistance, accelerating hard without down shifting at a gearing disadvantage, etc.)
Also, don't correlate water/oil temps to transmission temps. Your water and oil is circulating through a supercharged engine producing ridiculous power while it simultaneously regulates a thermostat - your trans temps influenced by other things.
The manual even says that when checking the level of your automatic transmission fluid it must be between 130 -140 degrees which I have found it very rarely gets in that range unless I’m driving it hard.
Mine does the same thing. I noticed through the winter months it would never move. Now that we are having a few warmer days, it will get up to 105 maybe 110 if I have been driving for a while. My concern is that it never gets hot enough to burn off any moisture that may be in the fluid.

You shouldn't have any water in your transmission unless you have infiltration from leak/damage. That would be a very bad sign though.

Gotcha.....I thought I remember reading before that the transmission fluid would attract moisture if it didn't get hot enough to burn it off like oil. Thanks
