If talking about the actual a/c & not seat ventilation, then no, C7s/ZO6s a/c works fine. You should be running it in AUTO mode to eliminate moisture/condensation. Make sure if it’s synced to passenger side, that side is not much higher than driver. I had a’16Z and now a ‘19Z & they work well on the hottest/sunniest days. If in wrong settings it can actually be pulling some hot air from engine compartment.

There have been complaints here on the forum...but here in Texas I have driven in 108 degree temps many times and the AC kept up just fine...even with my black convertible top and interior. If your Z06 is not cooling, then there is something off that needs repair.
There have been problems with the A8 tranny overheating on the track...but that's a different thing entirely.
