I would also recommend adjusting height adjusters for your hood so it is level on both sides and does not put pressure on lines near heat extractor shroud Mine was beyond tight. Look at my post #27

After installing mine, I noticed that the rubber hose mount was sticking up and hitting the edge of the extractor vent on the hood. I then simply, turned the rubber hose mount the other way and routed the hose further down along side of the CAI. It was tight, but it worked without adding any additional pressure on the hose.
This is how my hose is routed today on my 2019. I had to remove it from one of the clips on the fender to meet the angle. I am looking to correct. Thank you!

This is the correct way to install. You have to remove the clip that is by the A/C line to free up the tension. I use push mount zip tie in place of the factory clip so that you still have something holding it but it allows you to keep the tension loose.
