Default Value question

Unfortunately because of health issues I am going to sell my 2016 Z07 3LZ auto coupe. It has 13,000 miles. The car has a long list of mods including a 2650 blower and when it was tuned by Shane Hinds it made mid 820's HP on 93 pump and alky injection and 960 with E-85. I had intended to drag race the car but Covic shutting the local drag strips and then health issues prevented this. I am planning to list this car for $75,000. Anyone have a opinion on the fair value of the car?

Right now it's a sellers market. You will probably get what you are asking or darn close to it. I have a couple of friends that have recently sold their cars. 1 was a C8 and the other was a C7 coupe with over 1K hp. Both sold very quickly and for their asking price.
Very sorry to hear about your health issues. Mine has had an impact on me as well.

I would list the car for $90,000.

List the car for its base value plus 30% of the cost of the modifications. Unfortunately, you do not get much of a return on mods. Not to mention the number of people willing to purchase a modified Z06 will be less than those who want a never modified car. $75K sounds reasonable. $90K is too much IMO.

Thanks guys for the feedback. The car is in pristine condition and I think $75,000 is reasonable. I do like the suggestion of listing it for 80K since it gives some bargaining room.

I'd list it for $79,999. It just looks better to a potential buyer vs $80K. Silly but it really is a viable marketing tactic.

John hoping and wishing for your health, that's always first!

As for the car, I think you can get more than 75k. Maybe not 90 as mentioned above, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to get a sale in the mid/upper 80s.

75 is low for the market right now I would start at 83 to 86 and work down from there as offers come in.

If it weren't for all those mods I'd say 85
But I know when I was looking if something was modded like that I'd just assume it had it's rev limiter slammed on a dyno 200 times and then slammed on a track another 200 times
Not saying that is the case with yours but obviously that's the perception.

contrary to somebody stating above that you can expect 30% the value of your mods, IMO it's more like subtracting a certain percentage from stock
Your 75 seems pretty darn close given the facts. I'd say 80 to 85 if it were stock.

This one was very similar, heavily modified, sat for a month at $75k. Unfortunately the OP deleted all the details.

The 30% value only counts towards someone that is interested in buying a modified vehicle. I sort of said that but not maybe in a specific way. I agree that a modified vehicle would be LESS valuable to many potential buyers. Which is why I said his list of potential buyers would be fewer even at $75K because it is modified. To a VERY small percentage, meaning someone who is looking for a built car, $80-85K would be worth it. But this would likely take quite a long time to sell as not many people would be looking for this.

yeah I totally agree
I'm sure there's a guy out there looking for those specific mods, but finding those few people in the market right now and in a reasonable distance to the car makes it so tough with mods.
