To reduce brake dust you can switch over to ceramic brake pads like Carbotech or Powerstops (I'm happy with Carbotech). Additionally you an ceramic coat your wheels which makes cleaning easier.

Wow your convertible is a dead ringer for my coupe. Beautiful, although I am biased. I don't know about catch cans as I decided that one is not really necessary for my 2016 Z06. But others can speak to that. As to brake dust, I had Powerstop Z26 pads installed at about 4,000 miles (now have 22,000). They really cut down on dust and stop as well as or better than the stock pads. Had them checked by a brake expert recently and, despite my dealer saying they might need replacement soon, he said they looked like new and should last another 40,000 miles. When I bought them in 2016 they cost about $130 for a set of front and rear pads on Amazon. Probably a bit more now. --Bob

Nice ride!
I believe the mighty mouse catch can is popular: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...torsports.html
i have been reading up on these since i did make one back in the day on my 2001 ls1 firebird but i havent looked into this enough to see if its really needed for these cars overall.
I have been very pleased with the carbotech pads but I do not track the car. Seems to stop well and pad dust is much lower,
There seems to be little proof of the benefits of adding a catch can and adding it is an issue for warranty coverage.
You don't really need a catch can on a stock car. You have to lift the blower to install it so might as well wait until you want to do some mods. I did my MM catch can when I installed the upper pulley to save labor on install but that's a slippery slope. That led to 5" CAI, flexfuel sensor, headers, and a tune since I only wanted to pay for the tune once lol...

I'm very familiar with that rabbit hole. I wanted to cam my SS. Well 800hp and 25 grand later I finally finished my "cam" upgrade
