Default Bluetooth Soler Throttle Control

Please provide a review for the Bluetooth Soler Throttle Control. Is it worth the extra cost?

I bought the Bluetooth throttle controller about a month ago. I haven’t tried the regular throttle controller that Soler offers but the Bluetooth has been excellent so far. I liked not needing to mount the screen anywhere.

Install was simple, remove throttle pedal, connect the controller in line and reassemble. Note, to initially connect your phone to the Bluetooth, you will need the screen connected. Once I had a Bluetooth connection, I completely removed the screen and placed it back in the box. It’s great being able to change modes directly on my phone. I’ve settled on Sport 4 for now but if I ever want to change modes all I have to do is open up the app and the throttle mapping changes within a second of selecting the new mode. To me it was worth the extra ~$90 for the ease of use and keeping my interior clear of the control screen.

Here is a picture of the app (It normally has colors but is greyed out at the moment because I am not connected to the car):

This brings up a question. If all you use is Bluetooth, do you even need to plug in the control panel?

You do need it for initial setup/pairing but I unplugged it, hid the wire and drove tonight with no issue and app was connected.
