Anyone replace just the exhaust tips on your z06? I’d like to replace them with black or black chrome versions but am not interested in doing any other part of the exhaust. Are the tips welded to the axle back section or bolt on? Will any vendor’s tip, eg Corsa, work on the stock pipes?
They are welded, not saying it cannot be done, but might be difficult. If you have NPP will be even more difficult. I am not sure you can even get the black pipes alone from Corsa.. let us know if you find out more info.. I am sure many here would be interested in the outcome
Maybe remove the axle back and have them powder coated? I've seen some guys paint the tips black with heat-resistant paint, however I would like a more black-chrome like finish.
