I’m looking to add a flex fuel kit and long tub headers to my 19 Z06. I was wondering if this combo would work with the stock fuel system. I’ve read that I may need to upgrade and get a low side fuel pump because I could possibly run into fueling issues. Any help would be appreciated
It will work, probably won't be able to run full E-85. Would need to blend down to E-55-60. Still a nice power increase. I have a 15 and fuel pump started running low above E-55.
With a 2019 Z06 you don't need a low side solution as it has the ZR1 low side pump from factory. But a tuner that knows how to squeeze more out of the low side and high side pump will help stretch your Ethanol Content %. That said, E60 should be easily obtainable with those mods without upgrading the low side or high side on the 2019.
You will be able to run E50 which even if you could run full E85 it would make the same power. Do that with an aeroforce gauge to see the e content and our gauge pod to mount behind radio, and you're set! We do this combo a lot and usually see 85-90 rwhp gain over stock and most add in our expansion tank to ensure no air pockets.
you would be limited to e35-40. Not a big deal, but more blending so it depends on your threshold of what you're ok with doing.
If I decided to do the lower pulley as well wouldn’t I need to upgrade my cooling bricks since I would be spinning the supercharger harder? And would I gain about the same amount of power with just flex fuel and headers as opposed to flex fuel, headers & lower pulley?

Stock bricks will be perfectly fine. With a pulley I typically see another 30-40 rwhp gain.

I was about to do the same but had seconds thoughts on the whole E85. Unless you buy the expensive stuff in a barrel it is pretty dirty. Clogs injectors and apparently gums up other things.
I decided to just stick with 101 u leaded. Exhaust tips stay super clean. Clean injectors and similar power to E50 from what I have read on here. Now the price is t all that much more either lol.

lol yeah I am sure 101 unleaded is a little more than e85.
Been running pump E85 for years and so have my clients, never even run a tank on 93. Never had any issues. Although in FL and TX the pumps always have fresh E85. Not sure where the stigma's came from about dirty and gummy. That hasn't been my experience.
Not to get off the subject but . How come my brothers 2013 Cadillac Escalade can run E85 from the factory and the C7 Zs need a flex fuel sensor to be able to run E85?

Because the fuel volume required to run full E85 on the LT4 would have raised production costs due to needed the whole system beefed up. Additionally they met the performance goals on pump gas. It was answered somewhere on this forum by Tadge I think.

I was told this by reputable Chevy service manager who does a lot of track cars and races himself at a high level. He ran e85 in his ZR1 and had to clean injectors once a year. I think he was running full e85. Perhaps mixing to e40-50 or isn’t as much of an issue. He said they don’t have the quality control on pump E85 like they do regular fuels. I did some searches and found lots of similar stories across a lot of platforms.
I just decided it wasn’t worth the hassle mixing and having to bring jugs to the track etc. tracks have pump 101. Decided I’d rather spend couple hundred bucks per track day and keep things simple.
