Congratulations and welcome to the Z owners club. It’s hard not to love this car. I was smitten with mine, even during the 500 mile break in period when only using a fraction of its power.
It’s very wise of you to slowly get used to the power. This isn’t a car you just want to flat foot the gas pedal without knowing what’s coming
I think it will be a while before i do any wide open throttle stuff.
Honestly right now doing the half *** pulls gets the heart racing.
Even driving it normal is amazing. It's a fun car. I took the top off the other day loved every second of it just cruising.
Also i didnt buy this car for attetion by any means, but how do you not like all the looks and comments. I thought with the c8s being out it wouldn't stick out as much. I think I've maybe stopped at one place where people didn't pay any attetion. Everyone is always looking, waving, giving comments. As I said I didn't buy the car for that but it does feel good.

Absolutely agree. That power comes on fast and furious. Great advice to get used to it slowly. Otherwise, end up on YouTube Corvette Fails, or much worse. I prefer my fellow vette owner buddies healthy, and with their vettes in 1 piece
Oh, and while you’re in a spending mood, might as well get the carbon flash painted fender extensions from ACS too.
Perfect Match with the stage 2 front splitter! I have poor mans stage 1 spitter on mine so the plastic fender flares look good with the cheapy version.
I was literally JUST pondering as I looked at the picture I posted what my car would look like if I blacked out the rear window columns and the trunk lid. I like it!
Yeah I was very nervous, still am but getting much more confident to push the pedal down a bit.
Thank you! I'm still a bit nervous pushing it, only broken traction once.
How bout the Z06 power? It's relatively easy to control even when driving fast... cuz of StabiliTrak. Without StabiliTrak, you'll end up damaging 2 cars, a light pole, and, a sign...
BE CAREFUL.the corvette is the most dangerous car in america.most people who buy these cars do not understand the power.they are DECEPTIVLY FAST.they look down at the speedo and it reads 100 and they have the windows up and stereo on and they dont believe they are going that fast until they have to stop.you have a F16 fighter.you have to believe your instruments!!! that is the key to staying alive in your Z.have fun and good luck.great looking car.
