Hello everyone, Living in Texas your likely to run into a shower or two and sometimes a major downpour like we encountered waiting in traffic for the light to change, when all of a sudden this wave of about 2 feet rammed us from the rt side and within 1 minute the car died instantly dead and we started float as cars were scrambling out of the way creating big wave that splashed over the hood, we got out ASAP and pushed her to high ground about 40-50 feet the most we were in the water was 10 mins. it a 2015 Z06 5k for miles. We have limited power now, but no power going to the engine fuse box area, but plenty of power in the luggage area fusebox, We pulled fuses to check them but nothing was burned out in the frt engine area and the fear all lid up with our tester. Also we checked the fuse plate on top of the battery and that checked out ok as well. Any idea? We would be very grateful for any advice. If we put in for a claim they might just write off, we have no idea. We hope it's not totaled. We were in the wrong car in the wrong place at the wrong time, Thank you all
The front fuse block is fed from the 350 amp fuse on top of the battery. Check voltage on both sides of the 350 amp fuse and also at the stud on the rear of the under hood fuse block.
There is also an aux fuse block under the front fuse block with fuses for the starter, alternator, power steering, and cooling fan.
