Stock 15 A8 (except for Afe intake and x-pipe). Looking at options for a pulley that won't murder the blower but will provide some kick. Don't want to go with a 2650 at this point.

I had one for awhile but car ran hotter with it and wasn't worth minimal gains

I am running an ATI 15% lower on a 19' z06 and manifold temps rise quite a bit when sitting still or when doing back to back pulls but it cools off relatively quickly and returns to decent manifold temps once the car is moving.

So far happy with the modification, still itching to get a 2650 though.

Any other things to do that don't require digging into the engine? I know I'll limit myself by saying no E85 or nitrous.

2.38 pulley and E50, that is only a 4.7% overdrive so like 0.8-1.0 PSI gain.

I went with a 2.3 GripTech pulley on my 19Z M7. I have an AFE CAI as well. ECS installed and tuned. Car made 661 WHP and 617 WTrq on their hub dyno. Very happy with the results. It pulls noticeably harder.

On my 2015 M7 ZO6, I had similar setup as you describe ( AFE CAI, Xpipe), I also have Akra cat back & ported MAMO TB.
Putting on a 15% OD pulley gave it plenty of "kick". Was fun for street driving but limited top end due to heat soak. So while the comment is correct re: a dimishing return when you add a pulley to stock motor you will definetly get a far stronger TQ pull at lower RPMs compared to stock.
Trying to rember, I believe my numbers were 621HP / 651 TQ to the wheels. The TQ would hit very low in the RPM range ....blow the R888R tires off in second gear. Non the less, made it fun to drive. I recently moved to a 2650 ( so will you .... smile).

2019 M7 car. On a mustang dyno I went from 544rwhp w/ x-pipe, mambo throttle body, AFE to 622rwhp adding TSP headers/no cats, and E85. I would guess thats about 685rwhp on a dynojet.

I’m running a maggy 2300 with a 5% lower
pulley. No heat issues. Kooks LT, ported snout
95mm zr1 tb, Afe intake. Im at 14 lbs of boost..
New ported LT 4 heads katech delete plate LS7
lifters and trays, chrome moly push rods, and an X tank
702/724rw on 91 octane. IAT’s are low. So the 5% pulley
worked for me

19 C7Z here, base lined at 562rwhp bone stock on some 93 octane. Added Halltech CAI, Mamo V2 PTB and AWE catless x-pipe. On same 93 octane made 596rwhp. Went back and added DSX flex sensor and tuned on E40 and added a LSx style 160° t-stat. The car made 642rwhp, result was low due to a poor as tune from a crappy tuner. Got with Ryne Cunningham, cleaned up tune and got car running right along with having the TCU unlocked. Car was running a 7.49 60-130 before Ryne tuned it.. For the last round of mods I went with Griptech 2.3" upper along with Cordes 5" CAI and Cordes Expansion tank. Ryne touched the tune up one last time and car put down a 6.53 60-130 and then ran a 10.4 1/4 mile at 134mph. Math says the car is making near 700rwhp now and is running E50 on the stock fuel system.
