Costco has these on sale $300 off, I've been wanting one for years, especially when I'm working on my car/suv, which is why I got the 7000TL. My question though, my Z is lowered completely on stock bolts, I have to use ramps under the front tires when I'm using a floor jack, for those of you that have lowered your car, how do you get the QuickJack ramps under the rockers and what jack points are you using. Thx.
I own a 7000 TL and use it with my ‘19Z. Mine is not lowered and there’s probably only an inch and a half to 2 inches clearance as it is, before adding pucks to the standard jack points, front and rear inboard of the rockers. I think you’re going to have to drive up on boards to get some extra clearance. A little extra tedious but it’s great once it’s up in the air.
I also got mine from costco when they had the 5k on sale i didnt want the bigger one since ill only really work on my vette and lighter cars. my truck i take to dealer for stuff. havent lowered mine yet but it will be close i think without riding up on planks..
most will ride up on some some homemade woods plank ramps to get up just an inch or two only enough to be able to slide the ramps without issue as JoeCT mentioned.
either way one of the best tools i got with this quickjack, i dont use it very much but when i need it i safely lift the car, makes doing this in a garage helpful so i dont need to go around jacking up the car side to side front and back..

hey just wanted to confirm if the 7000tl version fits the my 19z. After measuring the puck spread of the car , it was too close together compared to the 7000tl min spread. 37 inches min. And I got 36
It fits but with the rubber blocks as far toward center as the quickjack allows, the pucks are about 90% on the blocks and 10% overhanging toward middle. Not ideal and it’s disappointing but it seems quite stable. It’s just a little more tedious to get it aligned. 5000TL is the same. I wish there were a solution to make sure the pucks are completely on the blocks.

Yes this is what I figured after doing the measurements. Weird , how all the posts I read. Not a single person mentioned it does not sit fully on the pucks.
Yeah, none of them will go small enough for Corvette... I agree, I found out once I tried first time to put C7 on it. I have tried the sideways option they show on their site, it works fine, but depends on what you need access to under there.
After struggling for 3 years with the Quickjack 7000 under my 2017 Z06, I finally fixed the problem. Bolted 3" x 1/4" steel flat bar to the bottom of each. Welding would be better, but I used four 3/8" bolts and tapped the Quickjack frame. Works great. Leaves just enough clearance for the hose.

Can you share any more details about how you bolted these plates on? What size thread tap/bolts did you use?
The first pic is the bottom side of the Quickjack. Note you must correctly locate the short hose mounted to the Quickjack before bolting or welding the plate.
I was shooting for overkill on the bolts. Chose the largest 3/4" to 1" long flange head hex bolts Lowes had in grade 5 or 8. These are 3/8" diameter, not sure what thread pitch. Bought a tap to match the bolts.
Have used them several times since the fix without issue.
