Installed these dive planes from Darwin Pro using double stick tape (3M) and 3 rivets per.
The fit up was a bit of a challenge but I think the end result looks good and aggressive and with any luck might function well in conjunction with the stage 3 rear splitter wicker bill extension.
All held up well after a romp out to Montauk Pt.!
Next test NJMP this weekend.
Thoughts appreciated.
How effective they are will probably depend on the airflow over them. There may not be a lot of airflow around the side of the front fascia in that area. You may need to stick small strings along the side of the facia and have somebody take a picture of them as you drive by at high speed so you can see if the strings are indicating airflow in that area.
Thanks for your reply.
Mine are CF as well. I had them flash painted to match the rest of the car.
Do you notice a diff in handling at speed?
I love them too!!
I added the Katech front splitter and the ZR1 wing at the same time, so yes there is a handling difference at speed, but I can't say how much is from the dive planes and how much is from the rest of the aero.
DaWelda, My Friend, You already had "dive-planes" on the front of your car! What do you think those big scoops are on each end of your front "spoiler"?
