Haven't had Corvette long it sat for a long while.

I took it out and ran it pretty good to get butterfly's out
When this happened before took it of for a good ride.

If could be a bad cat. The federally required emissions warranty is good for 8 years and 80K miles and I believe covers the cats.

P0420/P0430 is a top 10 trouble code…could be a bad cat or possibly even an exhaust leak…I’d take the car to a shop that knows how to diagnose cars…not replace parts…video below.

That code indicates the passenger side main catalyst isn't functioning properly. Could have a failing O2 sensor, exhaust leak, or indeed a failing catalyst. There are other possibilities but they would usually come with other codes as well. It could also be a failing Bank 2, sensor 2(rear) O2 sensor.

Get an OBD2 scan tool and monitor the O2 sensor movements when the car is warm. They should fluctuate back and forth from rich to lean and constantly be doing this at idle. Next I would do a visual inspection under the car and see if anything looks abnormal. You might have to actually pull the cat off and look inside of it.

Swap the O2 sensors side to side and see if the code changes.

Bill I cleared the code,
Can I still go to the dealer.
Or should I see if the check engine comes back. I thought it was from sitting it ran good. Yesterday
Talked to Dealer they said when light comes in bring it in so that's where I am at

You will have to wait until the code comes back. If the cat is bad and the 8K/80K mile emissions warranty hasn't expired they will be able to replace the cat under warranty. The sensor isn't covered under the warranty. An independent shop won't be able to replace the cat under warranty.
