Holy ****! I would be scared to death I'd break that thing. It can't be cheap. The ACS composites spitter the previous owner had on the car. He broke it right before I bought it.. Grrrr! Its $850 to replace it and I've been to worried to spend that coin, just to break it. So I put a poverty splitter on it. It has marks on it already.
If you live in the North East I would not get a splitter that large. The dips in the roads and driveways and "pot holes" will ruin that unit in "short order". I have a stock splitter and have gouged it and scraped it many of times. A new stock splitter is only a hundred dollars ! I am on my 3rd one and no one notices the difference.
