I've always used the Michelin PS2's. Thinking of going with Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02's. Or possibly the Michelin Super Sport ZP's. I do not track the car.
Anyone have experience with either of these tires?
I have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports ZP's on my car now and like them. They are not as good as the Cup2's in the dry but are far superior in the rain. Both the Super sports and the cup 2's suck when the temps get below 50 degrees so I run the all season 4 in the winter ( have two sets of wheels so I just swop the wheels in the spring and fall) I personally hate the all seasons tire in the summer(but that's just me). I've never tired the Continentals.

how do you get enough heat in the cup 2’s on the street?
Big fan of the Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02s plenty sticky for “spirited” driving and much more comfortable and quieter than the SuperSports. Cup2s and others may be great in track, but I drive on the street 99.99999% of the time.
Always trade offs. Decide what you’re most interested in solving for and commit.

I went with Toyo R888Rs since they fit on stock rims. The tires are a bit taller, and to keep the front | rear increase the same, I went with the 275 front tire (instead of 285). With just a bit of warm up, they will hold in first gear.

As they age they lose some of their stick but still good tires for putting down the power from a stop or roll. If that’s your thing. I still like the overall feel of the handling and balance of the car with the pilot ss or pilot sport 4s’s best though.
This subject has been beaten to death on this forum. The Cup 2's shouldn't be driven on the street at all. They throw all kinds of debris on the car and the Cup 2's are really meant for the track. the regular PSS's aren't too bad. I have the 4S on my 19 ZR1 with Nitto drag radials are for the strip. I usually just keep my slicks on my 16 Z06 unless I'm going to drive it far or in the rain. I also have several wheels and tires that I just switch back and forth.

what do you run in the rear of the zr1 on the street since michelin doesn’t make the 4s in our size?
