Question about performance mods
Just bought a 15 Z06, 2LZ. I'm the 3rd owner and 2nd owner basically, knew nothing about the car. It has long tube headers, Magnaflow exhaust and aFe intake. I assume, but can't say it was tuned. Car runs like a scolded dog! Very loud, but nice! No check engine codes, Don't know if any other performance mods were done. But anyway, what king of HP/Torque gains should I expect from these mods? Apperently the 1st owner did the mods, 2nd owner was older and barley drove the car. Thanks for any input. I owned a 15 Z51 vette years ago and NO comparison to this car. My last vette was an 08 Z06 with heads/cam, exhaust, intake and long tube headers, but this C7 Z06 feels much stronger at WOT!

look at the o2 sensors. if theres a o2 fouler in place you likely dont have a tune. if not then the rear o2 sensors were turned off in the tune and likely a mod tune. if its possible to find the original tuner then he will have the credits in his hp tuners unit. if not you will have to buy them again when you retune after future mods.

Put it on a dyno. The operator should use HPTuners to monitor engine parameters and should use a wideband O2 on the exhaust. It'll tell you so much more than "How much power does she make?"
