My dash is flickering like crazy when I first get in the vette. New battery last year. Connections are good. Battery test good. Alternator working.
service axle light comes on some times. All new fluids. Still happens randomly with the flickering. After I drive around and ride 2,500 rpm it stops? I’m thinking a connection maybe? Also when I’m getting on her about to redline the car stutters. I’m guessing I need new plugs too. They looked dirty but I bought it with the work at 23k miles. I’m at 26k now. it is a stage 3 cam and ran meth but recently tuned it off. Should I take the car to get scanned? There are no lights popping up.
That stuff sounds like a battery / charging system issue. Fluctuating voltage can cause all sorts of weird issues. New doesn't necessarily mean good, for your battery.

I changed the battery around a year ago. Just stating it’s a newer battery, test came back good and alt is working. How would I go about testing if it maybe charging system? There are no good shops I trust around me to take it to.
What does your voltage read when the dash goes crazy? Many of those warnings have been due to the alternator overcharging. Mine has done it twice and I'm on my 3rd alt. 77K miles

It only happens when I’m driving after first start up. Doesn’t happen the rest of the day. I don’t remember till it happens again the next startup. My buddy who is a Chevy mechanic is going to look into it and see. I was thinking alt to but during the battery test it came back fine.
