Default Front Tow Hook

Quick question. I’m the third owner of my Z06. When I bought the car, both tow hooks were installed. I removed the rear one and had to buy the matching bumper cover. Now, I’m deciding to remove the front one. Question I have is, once it’s removed, is there a plug or something that should be replaced to protect the threads and make sure it doesn’t fill with sand/dirt? Thanks all!

My 15 didn’t come with anything in the threaded bung. Just open exposed threads.

It won't hurt a thing by just removing the hook. Don't worry about those threads at all.
