Speed Sensor code
Hello all. New to the forum and first post. I own a 15' C7Z M7 and currently have it at the dealership to take a look at a few things. Of primary concern is the speed sensor. I raced this at the track last season a few times. After doing a burnout and hitting high RPM's (possibly bouncing off the limiter), the check engine light will come on and put the car in limp mode coming out of first gear. After that it performs normally. The dealership says that this is perfectly normal and does not need a speed sensor, and that I might be able to get this feature removed in the tune.
Ironically enough when down at the track and this happened, the tuner of the car, was there and cleared the code. He thought it needed the sensor replaced. I am now left confused and thought maybe someone on this forum may have some insight into this issue.
