I have a 2016 C7 Z06 with the Z07 package (carbon ceramic brakes), and I’m looking at a set of Forgestar D5 beadlocks.
I know the 18x12 rear setup is confirmed to work with the Z07 carbon ceramics. However, there’s a marketplace listing near me where the seller says the rears are 18x11. I’ve honestly never heard of or seen anyone running an 18x11 on a C7 Z06 with the Z07 package, so I’m trying to verify whether that size will actually clear the carbon ceramic brakes without any issues. The tire setup in the picture is the common setup for the 18x12 wheels with the MT 345/18. Not sure if its an error on his end or actually the setup.
Has anyone here run an 18x11 D5 beadlock on a Z07 car?
If so:
What offset/backspacing were you running?
Any clearance issues with the caliper?
Any rubbing or fitment problems under load?
Just trying to make sure before I pull the trigger.
