A couple days ago I attempted to get my 2016 Z06 down from my lift after its winter nap but it wouldn't start--dead battery. Finally was able to get it charged enough to start it the next day and got a new battery installed at my dealer. Everything seems fine except, I can't seem to get the Performance dash to display. For the entirety of my ten years of ownership I have always used the Performance display because I like the extra info it provides on oil pressure, voltage, etc. Now when I use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to bring up the menu with Info, Perf, Audio etc. on it, when I press the Perf selection It goes right back to the default display. Tried it multiple times and can't get it to respond correctly. BTW I noticed this on my way to the dealer before I replaced the battery with the new one, so I don't think it was related to the battery installation. Anyone ever experience this and if so, is there a solution? Thanks, Bob
Your DIC display settings probably defaulted to Link To Drive mode in which the DIC display follows the selected drive mode.
To verify:
Try changing the drive mode when you are out next. If the DIC changes to match your drive mode, then Link To Drive mode is set in the display settings.

This is exactly what happen. When the battery died the car reset everything to Sport. Using the steering wheel buttons I reset drive mode to Tour and the Perf display option returned. All is well. I also had to reset the suspension to Tour, which is the best setting to protect our fragile wheels, and reset steering to Tour because I have always found the Sport setting a bit too heavy for around town driving. It has been many years since I first set the car up (never had this problem before) so it took me a while to noodle out what I had to do. Thanks for the suggestions.--Bob
