^^^ Can we get back on topic? If not, don't post in my thread. You're more than welcome to start your own thread to argue with owners.

^^^ I know it's a public thread (I meant my thread in the sense that I started it), however it's annoying to see people arguing when this thread doesn't relate to the argument.

Looks like the coupe with the small wing shown in the video has a different set of wheel from what we have seen so far.

It is a definite mystery.
There HAS to be something hidden or GM wouldn't have went to the trouble of the camo with this car.

I also noticed that but wasn't sure. The paired spokes appear to be parallel(like the Z51 wheels) whereas the other cars have paired spokes that are not parallel.

Besides the wing, the camo is also hiding different variations of spoilers mounted on the top of the fascia.

Are the side view mirrors sticking out further because the wings obstruct the view of the rear view mirror? Maybe rear viewing cameras will be an option?

With the new aero and likely 750-800hp, and 'hopefully' improved cooling the new ZR1 is going to be an absolute track beast. The C7Z is already extremely quick, but the new ZR1 is gonna be in a different league. I'd expect very close to ACR track performance, but much better straight line speed. It also seems like they might offer different packages with regard to aero like they do with the C7Z, which would be nice...and clearly one of them is a big a** wing...

More power, more downforce, sticky tires = fast lap times. MRLS def. sub 1:30s, and maybe even a RING appearance, lol. I think it'll be tough, but 'maybe' we'll see a 9.99s 1/4mi time with the A8 on drag radials in perfect conditions. Nonetheless...I'd expect all the C7Z 'deficiencies' to be addressed. Question is, how much? $125k loaded?

Definitely something going on under he hood, but I'm not too sure about 750-800HP.

At first I thought the taller hood in all the spy shots was because of the revised(taller) lid on the supercharger for the 2017 Z06, but now we know that GM managed to do that improvement using the existing hood.

I'm still leaning towards a smaller displacement twin turbo(located in the valley between the heads and being a DOHC) V8 being in the upcoming mid engine car(Cadillac/C8????) and GM has installed some of those engines in the cars that we are seeing in the spy photos, thus the taller hood, for engineering testing. In a mid engine car, the additional height would not be of concern as there is vertical room for a slightly taller, wider engine located behind the driver.

If that's the case, then it's possible that the future production cars that we are seeing in the spy photos might not have a taller hood(or more horsepower) than the current Z06

I think 750-800 HP is wishful thinking, like what happened back in 2013 after some news about the new LT1 was released and everyone was positive that the new C7 would have 500+ HP. They had no way of knowing what the horsepower would be of the new LT1, but their wishful thinking had it pegged at 500+.

I think those same people did some similar wishful thinking about the horsepower of the C7 Z06 when news about the LT4 was being leaked back in 2014

^^^ No need to re-quote the previous post, especially if you're the next person posting.I feel like the engine doesn't have turbos. Usually cars with turbos have more "muffled" exhaust notes. In the video that Bob posted a page or two ago, the exhaust sounds very "free" (for a lack of better words).

I really can't see how expensive they can make this car. z07 is already over 110 loaded and there doing huge discounts to move them. ZR1 going to be 135k+? How many can they really sell.

Does anyone think this car has less HP then the Z06? I'm still thinking it might be a 585-600 hp NA car
