Default C7 ZR1 pictures

In looking at this picture It looks like cooling coils deep inside of air intakes. That are in front of the front wheels.
My guess is there will be one on each side of grill. One for motor one for Transmission.
Sorry it this has been discussed already. Not often do read this section.

They're getting a little lazy with their camo, aren't they?

Funny how the aftermarket had to do all the research for this and then they just borrowed the idea. They've done it before. I guess its the only natural progression for this car if you need cooling capacity increased.

I thought transmission cooling was already in the rear of the car?

I beg to differ, I believe the Camaro team let them look over their shoulder.

For those mentioning the spats...there are no spats on the ZR1.

Funny my neighbor's 7 year old said the exact same thing.

I doubt that these "spy" shots are illustrating a finish product. You might be right, but I'd say that something has to fill in the void at the lower fender where it meets the splitter. If not spats, then a Stage 3-type winglet of some sort... IMO.

Looks similar to me. At least a similar concept.

I don't know why they bother at this point. Its clear what it looks like. Sure, there might be slight variation, but not nearly enough to take someone from "that's Ugly" to "I got to have one".

I don't think it's lazy, I think it's marketing. Take a little bit off, cruise the neighborhood streets, gawkers post new photos, keeps the anticipation up.

Technique has been used for thousands of years (just different product lines).

Have a good one,
Mike

I'm just hopeful that nose fits the current cars (Z06). I'd do the LG cooling mod, but hate the openings. The nose in the teaser pics looks much, much better.

Yup.
Looking at these pics I gotta admit I'm not feeling the love for the gigantic hood bulge.
Looks like a real impediment to a driver's vision.
