Nice! thanks for sharing.

I just can't get past the hideous wing for street driving. I am aware it is functional.

The wing would be the first think that I would remove...all else looks good!

On edit: I take back what I said, I would swap the wheels out too. Not a big fan of the star pattern...

You can get it with the smaller wing, or this mondo one as part of the ZTK package. There is not an option to have a wing delete on this model.

- 750hp/680 lb-ft LT5 (6.2L, pushrod V8, Eaton supercharger)
- Supercharger produces 52% more air per RPM than the Z06 blower, also 2.9" taller.
- Because of the hood height, car can not be sold in Europe
- Tadge claims the ZR1 can shoot flames out from its exhaust
- NEW fuel delivery system- BOTH PORT INJECTION AND DIRECT INJECTION
- sub 3 second 0-60, sub 11 second 1/4 mile, 210+ mph top speed
- 4 additional heat exchangers (comparing to Z06) in the nose
- Curb weight 3664 lbs, 140 lbs over Z06
- Several aero packages available, RPO "ZTK" as shown in magazine. Wing has 10 degrees of adjustability, contributing to 500 lbs of downforce at speed.
- Wing is attached behind the hatch and spreads the load to the bumper beam.
- Removable top
- 2.5 seconds faster around VIR than Z06
All of that build-up for this?
One word...meh.

Buy the Callaway and save some dough.

So what could possibly be coming on 12/11? And anyone that says ME is an idiot. You can see the center exhaust in the short video clip. So is it a hopped up Z06 or ZR1 or ....

No, you can't buy a ZR1 without a wing. Read the article. You can only get a somewhat smaller wing. Blah.

DUH! Should have thought of that being that I had already seen it with the 11/12 date. Thank you for setting me straight.

Love the looks. But as a track nut concerned with the suspension. I maxed out the Zo6 suspension when it came out and now have a ZL1 1LE Camaro with the Spool valve shocks. Wish ZR1 would of at least offered them. I know most will never make it to that level but will go on record this coming spring I will be back here screaming give me suspension mods. Can't wait hopefully I am still atop a list for one of the first.

Pretty damn awesome.

But...I'm still wishing for a Z06X/GTx RS/1LE equivalent to finally reach the Corvette line. I guess Tadge & co. know the old farts on here better than I do.

I think the numbers make no sense and will be 800/780
when they are official..
