I was one of two people (the other guy was months ahead but I didn't know about his estimate when I posted mine) to predict the correct Z06 base price to the penny. Almost everybody else was way high. Now it's happening again. The first thing we learn from history is that nobody learns anything from history.
A few, though, are right that a base ZR1 shouldn't be more than $20k over a base Z06. It has a bigger supercharger for more power and torque, but more blower is just not all that expensive. It has piles of visible carbon fiber, and CCBs, but simply adding up the prices of options will put you too high because standard equipment costs less than option packages costs less than a la carte. And Chevy knows full well that you know full well that the mid-engine C8 will render all C7s, even the ZR1, as appealing as last week's sushi. So here are your sticker prices--
C7 ZR1 base price including destination: $99,995.
Plus gas guzzler tax, say $2k, and $101,995 will be the least you can get away with.
Mine will be another 5k for black/black convertible, 9k for 3ZR, 2k for black wheels and yellow calipers, and 3k for comp seats (they force me to not be fat) with yellow stitching; call it $121,000 plus aftermarket yellow skunk stripes. But one time was enough to pay full sticker for a Z06 convertible to be the first on my block, so I wouldn't think of switching until heavy discounts roll in.

We need someone to review everyone that has posted their guess for pricing. Then we can see who is closest.
And I'm not going thru 6 full pages of wild guesses......

My 2013 ZR1 came in at $126k and that is why they didn't sell 6 yeas ago. Why would GM price this new ZR! at a lower price when dealers and GM are going to make huge profits on this car. How many buyers are going to pay over sticker just to have one?

Kai was just about spot on when estimating a fully optioned ZR1 would be as high as $150,000
$124,000 for a vert
$10,000 for 3ZR trim
$7,000 for the Sebring Orange interior package (includes competition seats)
$3,000 for the ZTK performance package.
$2,000 or so for chrome wheels or other wheel upgrade
$1,700 for automatic transmission
$1,700 for gas guzzler tax
$1,000 for R8C delivery
That's about $150,400 and you might have options for winter tires, etc., as well as the engine build experience for $5,000. You could actually top a purchase out for more than $150,000!

I didn't add competition seats to my options list because they are included in the price of the Sebring Orange interior package.
