My guess would be yes with a fixed top Coupe offered later like with this C6 Z06 frame. The piece that goes in the C6 Z06 is made of magnesium. It bolts to the windshield frame and the rear hoop.
Yes, it’s removable, but looks a little different. It has the shaker like appearance to match the hood.
How is it "different" exactly? I've heard others make that same remark, but for some reason, I can't see a difference. From what I can see, it looks just like the exposed CF top on my 2014:

^^^ It could be just the lighting or reflection, but the center looks different. Track the blue outline. I haven’t seen any other close-up pics of the ZR1 roof, so it might be the same...
