ZR1 logo
I am not normally on this part of the forum, but has anyone paid attention to the ZR1 logo? What should be the 1 looks like a 0 (zero) to me. I realized it is supposed to be stylized, but has anyone else noticed this?

Here’s an enlarged pic... Looks like an outlined “1” to me. I like it.

The 1 is fine but how about the R is it missing a left leg?

In my opinion the logo is too "designy." Why couldn't they have just made it simple? The car is already flashy enough, so you don't need the logo to tell you that it's something super fast.
"Form follows function."
"Talk softly but carry a big stick."
Also, the "1" reminds me of Mobil 1.
One of the very few things I hate about my C5 are the cheap logo emblems. The plastic reminds me of the kind you find in a model airplane kit. I wish Chevy would make the hood and trunk logos in real enamel, like on a 1950's Italian car. Wouldn't it be cool if they offered that as an option?

I have to admit that the "1" looked like "II" to me when I first saw it.

^^^ I agree that the "1" is somewhat off. It reminds me of Tony Stewart's car when he had sponsorship from Mobil 1. TV shots of the hood made the "I' look like a "II." The "R" is screwed up as well but I do have to say that neither are bad enough to be a deal killer.

... then call it a ZR0. I doubt that anyone would care.
