Put Down Deposit on ZR1
Hi Folks,
I just put down a deposit on a ZR1 with Classic Chevrolet in Dallas area. I was told there are 12 people ahead of me. Sales guy said they don't know about allocations yet but hoping to know by end of December. Classic Chevrolet is one of the biggest Corvette dealer in Texas, so I am hoping I don't have to wait too long once production starts.
Compared to my Z06, looks like the car already comes with lots of options included. The only options I think I should get are the 3ZR and Sebring Design Package. I don't like the high wing on ZTK, so I pass on that as I only track my car once/month on average.
I am also unsure on A8 VS manual. My Z06 was A8 and compared to my other cars, the tranny on it was so so. The clutch on my GTS or Cali T are so quick and crisp and the down shifts and rev matching are awesome. Having said that, I loved my Z06 and I think GM gives us a lot of car for the money.
What are you guys hearing about wait list and allocation?

I'm number 3 in line. I'm good. My order is made at the dealer level. Deposit put down 14 months ago. Not certain about their total allocation but they sell a lot of vettes.

Sent me a PM N4Speed, and I will confidentially share their allocation with you (as long as you do not publicly later share it).
