Last run after removing some Aero and Canards was 190.1. Would like to see the 1/4 and Half Mile info.

So the question to Tadge is the 212mph claimed speed with the car as delivered or do you have to take everything off? As for someone who questioned the Callaway I did a search and someone here did 187.xx with nothing taken off. Hmm.

It could be a mile isn't long enough to get up to top speed.

That's quite well documented by now. They really wouldn't be playing that card. Callaway estimated 210 MPH and they achieved 205 MPH with stage 2, I believe!

Seriously, your not suggesting that I am thinking it should do 212mph in a mile? Come on man! That is retarded.

The common denominator is the starting line is iffy at best!

Sounded like part throttle and short shifted first.

Would love to see a run with a decent launch and using more of the available power throughout the run.

Anyone there have slicks? Wishful thinking.

As Dave says...STRONG tailwind. I'd be interested to know the da that day as well and temperature.
I was there in Oct 2016 in an 04 Z with 510rwhp. Temps were around mid 70's on my best pass of 188mph, so a fully stock c67 that was putting out really good hp like Daves of say 440rwhp would have to have very good da, cool temps and a strong tailwind to break that 190mph mark.

Here are the time slips:

Maybe someone who knows Airport weather data access can figure out the DA and the wind for those times/date. We were running on runway 12 (120*) and it is 12,500' long. From the event start to turnoff onto the taxiway is about 11,800' and at 2700' elevation. I would be guessing the weather conditions from memory 6 years ago at mid-day to be mid-80s and tail wind of 20+ MPH, gusts were forecast for that day as high as 40,but from experience, trying to estimate wind velocity almost always is overestimated.

I only got in 3 runs. My first run (rookie run) I spaced that I was running 1" taller tires and I went over the limited speed for a rookie. Bad juju for sure as I was the 4th guy down the track that morning with temps in upper 60's. No time for breaking the rules.
I had to go see the boss and apologize and time I got back in line and back to the starting line temps were 76-78 degrees. 188.3 mph.
My final run was like 3pm and Low 90's. Really pushing it. Felt like I was down on power. As I came around the turn off I get the dic saying "low oil". Dropped to 184 mph.
Put in a quart + of oil.
Babied the car home, never going over 1800rpm. Got home, cut open the filter and metal shavings everywhere. Fragged the crank and block.
18 months later I've finally got the engine in, low oil pressures issues addressed, oil coolers installed, maf sensor just replaced long with a failing fuel pump.
Ready to pass the car onto the son.

Grey Z06 185.3 unsure of mods.
Black C6Z06 173.7 unsure of mods
Black C7Z #1 talked to driver- was told it was his fathers car and was stock M7 speeds were 122-149-171
Black Z06 #2 talked to owner- was told bone stock A8 with about 1k miles first pass 117-147-172 (saturday), 122-151-174.1 and 124-152-175.3 on Sunday (owner told me he went 178 on Friday which may have happened as I think it was more of a direct tailwind that day).
White C7 Z06 stage 3 aero 125-149.8-121 (tech in run?)
AMP Vette highly modded 195 half, 207.8 with broke blower belt during the run. Came back and made a 228.5 pass later
Red C7Z unsure of mods 181.2

ZR1 speeds for reference-

132.6- 158.8 (tech pass)
129.8- 157.1- 180.8 first full pass with full aero
