First impressions of the car and the drive home...

So does only the orange stitching option have the orange in the headliner?

Good to know, thank you.
My 2014 is my daily and people stare slack jawed when I go to Home Depot, pull out a tarp and load up rose soil and mulch. Not that you ever would, but could you imagine the looks as you toss a bag or two over the wing into the back 🤨. Lol.

That is correct, SO design package is only interior package that receives colored stitching to match interior/seats stitching. I ordered Competition Seats with the Red Stitching and Red Seat Belts only to find out that the headliner will not receive the red stitching. My dealer told me yes, but was not the case. Oh well, no complaints here, but would have been a nice touch.

Car is absolutely stunning. I love it in black. The high wing actually seems to look better on a black car. I love the red accents. One question though, can you get the zr1 badge in red? I think with the red accents on the car you would be able to get red badges. You are a lucky man, enjoy.

Looking forward to more reviews when you get your baby back. And experiences with putting things in and out of the cargo area while avoiding the big azz wing

Hey Steve, be sure to post some new pictures when you get your car back. Forgot to mention that I liked the red pinstripe on the wheels. Really nice touch. Now I'm wondering what a blue pinstripe would look like on my vert? May play with some painter's tape and see if I like it?

At 6'7" how comfortable are you in the car? I'm 6'6" and I can't seem to get comfortable in a C7. Additionally, I prefer a manual, do you think you could operate a manual comfortably in a C7?
Thanks for any feedback, nice ride!

As far as working the clutch, I'm pretty concerned about that. I plan to find a friend with an M7 and see if I can do it. I think it's going to be tough with the available space from the pedals to the seat. My right leg is pulled back pretty far when I'm on the accelerator, but at least that leg doesn't have to move back and forth a lot like my clutch leg would need to.

For me, it's not bad. I drove the car back from Illinois which was around 850 miles. I think it has to do with your particular build though. While I'm 6'7", my inseam is about 36.5" so my legs aren't super long. Also, I'm about 255 so not skinny but not that overweight. I don't have a lot of headroom, about 1.5". The only real complaint I have is the standard seat bolster pushes on my left hip in a way that's a little uncomfortable. It's been that way since my first C7 (a 2014 Stingray) and I guess I've just gotten used to it. I like the fact that there is a lot of depth in the footwell and there's enough room to keep your left leg stretched out when not braking.
