SoOOO stoked with my new ZR1, they really did such great work with the front bumper LOL sorry for the clickbait, but am I the only one that hates the ricer looking front bumper?

They just tried too hard IMO! It def doesn't flow well with the car, atleast on the C6 ZR1 they didn't go crazy with the ricer mods. All this being said, i'd still prob buy one if I could afford it.

IMHO, The front bumper and hood are the best part of the car followed by that big *** wing. If that makes me a ricer then I'm a ricer.

Really?? Dang that's just too much for me. I'm good with the hood, but when you ad that with the bumper and wing and all the other small misc stuff it just looks way to flashy. Obviously I'm sure if I seen it in person maybe it would grow on me, but I also think the wheels are the ugliest ive seen in years..

Agreed with OP. A friend and I had this discussion last night over a few cold ones; I just couldn't do it. The front bumper, the side fender vents, and the stupid wing...NOPE.

I think the ZR1 front end, makes all the other corvettes now look 'plain' and like a 'fish'. ZR1 front end is much more aggressive IMO.

The C6ZR1 didn't have half of the bling bling and it is just as fast as the C7ZR1.

Sorry I was referring to drag racing, obviously with 5+ years of technology the car is going to break more records, that's common sense. Nothing to get butt hurt about, I'm just a jealous guy that cannot afford one at this time. You must be the other guy.

Maybe wait till you see it in person? People who have say it looks much better than pictures. I do like it from the pictures, though i haven't seen one in person yet.

Almost every person dissing this car has never seen one in life and is basing it on exaggerated and lens distorted pics. Is everyone who sees it in life going to be impressed and in love? No. But show me the car that achieves that. I would say the vast majority will love it when they actually see it and would wish they could have one. Of course then there is that fairly large percentage of jealous butt hurt types that wish they could but can’t for various reasons and will never admit it. Much easier to hate on it. Just be impressed and happy that GM is actually even building a car like this which just a short while ago was not even in anyone’s dreams fr a production car with a warranty.

I can see where, in pictures, you might think the hood bulge is too much or the front grill too prominent, but I've seen it in person and it is amazing and much better proportioned that some images might suggest.

I still think my C7 vert is gorgeous - the ZR1 just has more muscle. Not for everyone but still very well done.

The funny thing is, I didn't even notice the hood on the eclipse in the top pic. I posted mainly to say how I dislike the front bumper. I really do like the hood. The spoiler and front bumper just don't work for me. I know that they are functional for all out racing but really ugly. Just like that huge wing they put on the viper...

I think the z06 is borderline too flashy and I own one. the zr1 just takes it to the next level. It reminds me of the Viper (in your face with that big wing and all) still love that GM keeps pushing the envelope and I hope it breaks all kinds of track records and kudos for all the vette owners that can get one
