C7 ZR1 is a three year program
I spoke to my source today. The ZR1 is a three year program with no changes. This is good news for those of us waiting for GMS and discounts. I'm ok waiting...my C6 ZR1 runs just fine.

I can tell you that Tadge and Harlan addressed that very question today at the Birthday Bash. They said they have no definitive end date nor build maximums........
So your "source" is not 100% correct.

I hope it gets an "X" version by the time the run ends.

That to me spells the end of the C7 production run in 2021.

3 years sounds about right.
By then the Bad Boy of the C8 should drop.

Yeah I can’t see GM stopping the C7ZR1 for the C8, it’s going to overlap I’m sure as everyone’s said, heard, speculated. Ur gonna have a C8 and C7 selling at the same time. And I highly doubt GM spent all that time and money building the ZR1 just to run a single model year. Just hope that C8 isn’t using a LT1 again yuk, need port injection this time!!!!

I’m in the exact same boat as you. I’ve had my 2010 ZR1 since new and it still makes me smile 27k HARD miles in and I will be happy to pick up a C7 ZR1 manual as soon as I can get 15-20% off like I did with my C6 ZR1. If they make enough of them and knowing GM’s history, they will, these types of discounts will be available for those of us patient enough to wait.

Let's add some logic to the guessing. Would killing the ZR1 after one year of production make financial sense? They will still have customers waiting at m.s.r.p. 3 years sounds logical, source or no source.
