Both of those cars are accounted for on the fast list, neither is bone stock. The red car is running Hoosiers and likely a tune, and the Gray one is also not running stock tires and I believe that's the member that's running on E85.
You actually think that a fast past wasn't accounted for already in the Demon fast list? Lol those Mopar guys are grasping at everything they have.

He says he's running the 840 tune, no other mention.
Can't find any info on the gray one.
Just commenting about what I've found poking around.
Is there another Demon fast list?
If you are correct, it seems they may have conveniently left the details out of the video.
What kills me is that one of the Demon owners was commenting that the ZR1 can't go 9's with a good driver and drag radials.
Man, it is going to shock them when it happens.

Scraping the splitter.
I said last spring when Dodge revealed the info on the Demon that it was NOT going to be easy to duplicate the 9.65 @ 140 pass. Not only was that pass in big negative DA air, but nobody has come close to duplicating the short time or approached the trap speed. The best efforts are more than half-a-tenth off at 60' (while running MT's and Hoosiers) and 3-4 mph slower.
It's going to be a VERY close race between a Demon and the ZR1, much to the dismay of the Dodge guys.

It also appears that some of the guys racing Demons are having doubts about Dodge's claimed 60' on Nittos. As in...no Demon has gone better than a high-1.4 on them.
They are mostly running MT Street R's and a couple are on Hoosiers.

I read thru that entire thread over there and I agree, while still a quick street car, it is going to take perfect conditions to go mid 9's without mods beyond the crate and ECU.

Otherwise, they look to be low-10 second cars.

Forgot DA!? ;)
The Demon appears to be slower than fartpipe's 2009 ZR1 that ran 10.26 @ 135.35 with a 1.52 60' . 100% stock with the exception of MT Drag radials. No auto transmission stab and steer run.
" A couple notes about the day run/car. I do not have side skirts still due to receiving 2 sets of flawed side skirts. The car has the clutch spring removed from the clutch pedal so the clutch is stiffer. I took the plastic shroud that sits around the supercharger off and put it in the back of the car. I also ate a Reeses pieces this morning with a Diet Dr.Pepper before racing. No other food was used for these runs partially cause I'm fat"

Fastest Dodge Demon pass to date that is FACTORY STOCK (With or without the crate) is 10.4. Ten Point Four. Read that again, 10.4 on stock Nitto NT05Rs. EVERY pass that is in the 9s, which by the way, there's only 4 to date, is modified. One guy went 9.9 with the Full crate installed, running Hoosiers and tuned on E85. That's the closest to stock 9. This is all taken from the Dodge/SRT forum, aka "The Demon Den".
Am I saying that they're "slow"? No but they're not even CLOSE to what Dodge claimed they are. Get outta here. 10.4 and 9.6 are 200 HP and/or 500+ pounds apart. I'm not getting into a pissing match about the Dodge Demon. It's impressive when comparing it to cars that run 11s. But it's not impressive at all when comparing it to true factory 9 second cars. Look at DragTimes videos with it, his most recent one at the strip with the full crate Demon. The Demon 60 foots HARD as hell, I'll give it that (He was on Hoosier slicks) but after that, the 720S makes the Demon look like it's going in Reverse. It bitch slapped the Demon by running 9.8-10.0 at 144+ MPH! The Demon was lucky to be trapping mid 130s and put out a best of 10.45 on Hoosier slicks, full crate, 100 octane. Again, that's full crate, Hoosier slicks, 100 octane, perfect track prep. (Florida evening, likely could have been a bit better ideal conditions elsewhere but I mean come on, gotta get real at some point, besides it would have just made the McLaren go faster too).
The Demon hasn't impressed me one bit. I would be impressed if it was getting 9s in showroom form WITH THE CRATE, but it can't and it won't. Fastest pass of 10.4 with all the Crate **** installed. 9.6, fastest production car? Blow it out your *** Dodge and their fans...
My $0.02

This x100. It has to be repeated that NO stock Demon has touched 9s....let alone anywhere near the OEM claim of 9.65
Look, no disrespect whatsoever to the Demon, but it has been a real world disappointment and it will take a highly skilled driver in a perfect environment to get anywhere close to the factory times.

Melting Slicks
Don't get me wrong, I think the Demon is awesome.
But as was predicted last year, it is going to be VERY hard for owners to match SRT's times in that car considering the conditions under which they ran it at Gainesville.
They put some impressive stuff in that car for drag racers.
Yes, it's power to weight although the Demon has some cool stuff like the factory "Trans Brake", the Torque Reserve and charge are cooling system.
The ZR1 and Demon are going to be much closer in straight line performance than Dodge fans think.

He went 9.76 on the 808 pump gas setting. (that also beat what SRT got 9.98)
People are figuring out how to get it done, that's what you cant see.
He backed up that 9.57 with a 9.58.
4 days earlier at the same track another 100% stock Demon went 9.69 @139.37
It's happening.
Legion of Demons is coming in January and this car will be there.
No modded cold air filter.
No tune.
Stock.
Come check it out

Nice run!
Made it look easy...but as you note, lots of coordination behind the scenes to reach their goal.
Well done! And all the best in the new year.

Not me, would much rather buy more land, than spend the money on 2 sports cars. The demons are nice, just not something I would want to buy. I would love to drive one at least once, but the ZR-1 would be my choice for sure.
