What did you or do you do to afford a C7 ZR1?

I'm not buying a ZR1 but....looking at my finances I could afford one if I really wanted to. My profession: physician.
Only thing is I'm fairly new out of school so have lot of school debt that needs to be paid off (hope to do so in the next 2-3 years).
And so at this point in my life it is wiser for me to not blow it on a ~150k super car and get my other finances straightened out.
But if I were mid-career? Then yeah I'd consider 100-150k supercars.
But realistically, I'd want to have a nice steady passive income stream coming in before I splurge on something this exotic/expensive. While it's obviously nice to be a physician, you're still a wage/hourly earner. It's best to get passive income so that you can still earn money while you sleep and not have to worry about work all the time. THAT's when you can really feel free, imo.
