All those race car driver were left wondered, maybe that’s one of the marketing set ups lol, those coverage of the car along worth way more than the car itself

6/6/18...wow time travel?
Who was the dork driving it? He has got to be the most embarrassed pace car driver ever.

Mark Reuss, EVP of Product Development at GM

Both airbags popped and he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Maybe a GS should be a better choice of a pace car. This incident with the ZR1 is completely embarrassing.

Just because you can build them doesn't mean you can drive them.

Bad PR for GM and the new ZR1 which was hyped to be the best car GM has ever made in the corvette lineup, which I'm sure it is... However, (insert bad driver(s) in new ZR1s. You can't fix stupid with any amount of money IMO. It's also comforting to note that your emergency flashers will still operate properly after a hard wall crash.

Mr. Reuss definitely appears to have been "hooning" with the car in the Track/PTM Race setting, which turns off dynamic stability control entirely, and dials back traction control to almost nil. That's only intended for very skilled drivers on any C7, even more so given the output of the ZR1.

He had the honor of driving the pace car because Chevrolet was the major, and named sponsor, of that race. Major egg on Chevrolet's face, but it wasn't the car's fault. PTM mode configurations below:
