That's the big Azz wing, Cups and track suspension. Makes a lot of difference depending.
More downforce!

Yes. Requires a “special” tool. 30M Torx Plus, 5 point “Security” version.

It's worth noting that it has two positions that are 5 degrees different. As best I can tell you tell you cannot pick a position in between. I posted track impressions in this thread but so far I think the lower angle position is the way to go.

Probably depends on how good of a driver you are. For professionals? No doubt. For very experience pro-am and high level amateur drivers ? Probably.

For the rest of the enthusiasts (99% of us)? Probably can't tell a big difference aside from aesthetics and bragging rights and knowing it's a track-capable monster.

The rear wing is pretty Menacing (A friend said, "It's going to give small children nightmares.")

Only had the car a short time and haven't driven it more than 3 miles (To get gas).

But it looks tough, and I hear great things about track performance.

Makes a huge difference. Turns a beautiful car into a ricer.

And where did the ricers get the idea? I'll tell you, from the real deals at the track. Therefore "turns a beautiful car into the real deal". But I"m still getting the low wing.

I am assuming we are talking about track performance. Does it make a difference? Sure. Does it make a big difference? It really depends on how good a driver you are and how hard you're going to push the car. It's not just the wing but the front underwing, different springs, different shock tuning. I tracked a Z06 non-Z07 for two years and was pretty fast with that car even though it didn't have the "track special" Z07 suspension. I then moved up to a Z07 and I was faster but I had learned to push the car to the edge and the extra spring rate helped at that point.

So back to you my question is what is your goal?

No need for this statement here. Do you have the new ZR1, are you buying one?

Rice usually means not effective. There is an aftermarket rear spoiler for the C7 that is surely rice. It is the one that bolts to the hatch lid. Not very effective thus the rice call out.

The high wing on ZTK cars is, indeed effective. It provides up to 500-lbs downforce at high speeds. The inverted airfoil that's under the front end on ZTK cars generates up to 400-lbs downforce.
